From 14 to 16 May 2019, the Electronics & Applications exhibition took place in Utrecht. Just like in 2017, we at AQC were present again! This biannual electronics fair is the perfect time for us to meet new people, inform customers and have a chat with a lot of acquaintances.
AQC is an enthusiastic sponsor of the third Fri3d Camp, a family friendly summer camp welcoming hackers, makers and DIYers. Every participant receives a badge full of electronics to assemble. AQC sponsors all PCB for this walking and dancing, foxy robot. The badge for Fri3d Camp 2018 is built around the EPS32. This MCU has two cores and is fitted with Wifi, Bluetooth and Led-matrix eyes.
During the WoTS 2018 it was pleasantly busy in the AQC stand. Of the more than 820 stand visitors, some 700 students and business associates took a shot at the much wanted cup of our AQC darts competition. Last year’s champion, Kevin van Gerwen (yes, it’s the brother!) came to defend his 2017 title in good spirits. But, he did not succeed. The winner of the AQC electronic darts tournament 2018 is Eric Luijtjes, student at MBO Landstede in Harderwijk.
PCB’s are a vulnerable high tech product that travels long distance from producer to customer. So sturdy and safe packaging is crucial. AQC receives a growing number of interesting orders that we want to deliver to our customers 100% intact. This is why we have invested in new packing machinery. With the Model Skin CS750 of the Presa Company we bought the best of the best in packaging.
We, here at AQC, have opened our doors for our customers and suppliers on Friday the 23th of February. We are very pleased with the big turn-out! It was a wonderful day and all the visitors were positively surprised when it comes to our housing.
From Tuesday 2 October – Friday 5 October 2018 you can find AQC in Jaarbeurs Utrecht at “De vijf werelden van WoTS.” WoTS stands for World of Technology & Science 2018. WoTS consists of five generic titles: World of Automation, World of Laboratory, World of Motion & Drives, World of Electronics en Industrial Processing.
The laboratory of AQC has access to two new Leica stereomicroscopes from early 2018. This investment is essential to improve the quality of monitoring our products as well as upscale the communication with our product location and end customer. It is important to us to offer our customers the best products and services, and that is why we are very excited about the purchase of two stereomicroscopes.
