In 2026, Chinese New Year begins on Tuesday, February 17. This year as well, our Chinese partners will be enjoying their well-deserved holiday during this period. No worries: AQC remains fully operational and work will continue as usual.
2026 is the Year of the Horse.
In Chinese culture, the Horse symbolizes speed, endurance, and progress. In technical and production-driven environments, this mainly means that those who plan ahead can accelerate later. It is precisely during this period that we refine specifications, prepare designs, and optimize planning, so that projects can resume at full speed immediately after Chinese New Year.
In other words: while some production lines take a brief pause, we continue behind the scenes to make sure everything is ready for the next sprint.
We have prepared our EU partners accordingly, so that ongoing processes can continue as smoothly as possible. However, please note that from February 9 through February 25, most Asian production lines will be closed. During this period, AQC maintains several contacts for which administration and engineering activities do continue.
